Best place to get a MRI in Florida. Dr. Carney is Superb. Don't think that all MRI's are created equal. An MRI is a diagnostic tool. The more skilled the Doctor reading the MRI, the better. When I had to have a MRI I was referred here because Dr. Carney is considered one of the best. I couldn't have been happier with the care I received from him and his staff.
Was scheduled for an MRI today and the customer service I received was top notch. Got there a little bit earlier. They checked me right in and were very pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommend this facility!

About Dr. Carney
Before joining the University Diagnostic Institute (UDI) Dr. Gregory Carney graduated from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and then earned his MD degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. After an Internship in Surgery at the University of Alabama, Dr. Carney completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Fellowships in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Carney is currently an Associate Professor at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center of the University of South Florida College of Medicine where he is involved in numerous academic endeavors.
Dr. Carney is on the medical staff of the James A. Haley Veteran’s Administration Hospital, the Shriner’s Hospital, Tampa Unit, and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Carney is also a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, the Hillsborough County Medical Society, and the American Society of Spine Radiology.
